Guest lists help you manage people who should receive access without going through the normal public ticket purchase flow. This can include press, VIPs, artists, staff, partners, sponsors or plus-ones.
Keep guest access organised separately from public ticket sales so capacity, scanning and communication stay clear.
Decide who belongs on the guest list
Use the guest list for people who are invited by the organiser. Do not use it as a replacement for ticket sales when a normal paid or free ticket would be clearer.
Common guest list groups include:
- Press and media.
- VIPs.
- Speakers or performers.
- Staff and crew.
- Sponsors and partners.
- Friends or plus-ones.
Add the guest details
Add the guest name, email address and any internal details your team needs. Use accurate email addresses if Tiqqo should send guest tickets or invitations.
For larger lists, import guests in bulk instead of entering each person manually.
Send the right access
Before sending guest tickets, check:
- The guest receives the correct ticket or allocation.
- Capacity still makes sense.
- The email template is appropriate.
- The guest should receive a ticket immediately or accept an invitation first.
If guests must confirm attendance, use RSVP instead of sending access without confirmation.
Review guest list before event day
Before scanning starts, review the guest list for duplicates, missing emails, unconfirmed guests and last-minute changes. A clean guest list reduces door confusion.
