Getting started - Guide

Add company and support details

Fill in the organisation details buyers, invoices and support workflows may rely on before you publish events.

5 min read

Company and support details help Tiqqo connect your event operation to the right organisation. They can affect internal administration, buyer communication, support routing, invoices and finance documents.

Complete these settings before publishing your first serious event, especially if you will sell paid tickets or expect buyer support questions.

Company details

Company details describe the organisation behind the events. In Tiqqo, the core organisation fields include:

  • Organisation name.
  • Address.
  • Zip code.
  • City.

Use the details that should represent the event organiser or business entity in your Tiqqo setup. If your public event brand differs from your legal company name, keep the distinction clear internally before adding ticket shops, invoices or payout details.

Support contact details

Support details tell Tiqqo which contact information belongs to buyer and event support workflows.

The current organisation support fields are:

  • Service email address.
  • Service phone number.

Use an inbox that your team actively monitors. Ticket buyers often need help with order questions, event policy, access questions, venue rules, name changes or refund decisions. Tiqqo can support the technical ticketing flow, but the organiser remains responsible for many event-specific decisions.

Finance contact details are separate

Do not use the support email for everything by default. Finance communication is separate from buyer support.

The support email is best for operational buyer and event questions. The finance email is better for settlement, invoice, payout and administration questions.

Keeping those contacts separate helps the right team receive the right messages.

Keep details consistent before publishing

Before a ticket shop goes live, check that your organisation details match how you want buyers, partners and finance teams to recognise the event.

Review:

  • The organisation name is spelled correctly.
  • Address details are current.
  • The support email is monitored.
  • The support phone number is still valid.
  • The finance team knows where finance messages will arrive.

For recurring events, this is worth checking before every new season or event series.

How these details relate to events

Organisation settings are not the same as event settings. Organisation settings describe the workspace and company context. Event settings describe one specific event: title, date, location, ticket types, capacity, branding and checkout.

If you run several events under one organisation, the organisation details provide the shared base while each event still gets its own setup.

If you will sell paid tickets, continue with Add financial information.

If you are still building the basic workspace, read Create your organisation in Tiqqo.
