The event scan report and recent scans

See per event how many people are inside, when the peak hour was and how each ticket type is coming in.

3 min read

The scan report shows how the door is doing. You use it during the event to follow how busy it is, and afterwards to plan your next event better.

Open the report

  1. Open the event in the app.
  2. Tap Event scan report.

What you see

  • Progress: how many people are inside, how many tickets have been sold, how many are still expected, and the pace.
  • Scans per hour: the number of scans in the last seven hours, with the peak hour.
  • Ticket types: per ticket type, how many tickets have been scanned and sold, and what percentage is already inside.

The report refreshes every 30 seconds. At the top you see when it was last updated.

Recent scans

Under Recent scans you see every scan for the event: who, which ticket, when and whether the scan succeeded. You can search the list by name, email or QR code.

Tap a scan for the details:

  • the time and who scanned it;
  • the order with payment method and total amount;
  • the other tickets in the same order.

From here you can also undo a scan. See Undo a scan.

Using the report

  • Peak hour: put more scanners on the busiest moment of your next event.
  • Ticket types: is one ticket type lagging behind? Then that group may be at the wrong entrance.
  • Expected: a high number just before closing time points to no-shows.
