Search tickets and orders and check in manually

Find a ticket or order by name, email or order number, and check a visitor in without a QR code.

3 min read

Has a visitor lost their ticket, is their phone dead or does the scanner reject the ticket? Then look the visitor up in the app. You see straight away whether there is a valid ticket, and you check them in manually.

  1. Tap Search at the bottom of the screen, or use the search field in an event.
  2. Choose Tickets or Orders.
  3. Type a name, email address, order number or ticket reference.

If you search from an event, you only search within that event. Tap the cross next to the event name to search across all your events.

In the results you see the status of each ticket: Open, Inside with the time, or Invalid.

Check in manually

  1. Open the ticket.
  2. Check the holder's name, the ticket type and the event.
  3. Tap Check in.

Are you outside the event times? Then the app asks whether you want to scan in anyway.

Tip: when checking in manually, ask for ID or the confirmation email. That way you know for sure the right person gets in.

View an order

Open an order to see:

  • the customer and the email address;
  • the payment status: Paid, Pending, Failed or Cancelled;
  • all tickets in the order with their status;
  • a timeline of the order, payment, emails sent and scans.

From the order you check in several tickets at once. See Check in a whole order at once. With Email customer you email the buyer directly.

A ticket's timeline

Every ticket has a timeline: created, email sent, checked in, scan reverted or invalidated. Handy when a visitor says they never received their ticket.
