Has an admin created a scanner account for you? Then you can sign in with a personal QR code instead of typing a password. That is handy at the door, where you want to get started quickly and without typos.
Where to find your sign-in QR
You receive the QR code by email from Tiqqo:
- in the invitation, if the admin chose a password when creating your account;
- in a separate email when the admin clicks Send QR by email;
- after resetting your password.
You can also open the QR code on a second screen, such as a laptop, and scan it with your phone.
Sign in with the QR code
- Open the Tiqqo app and choose Scanner & Event Management.
- Tap Sign in with scanner token.
- Give the app access to your camera if it asks.
- Hold the QR code from your email in front of the camera.
The app signs you in straight away and opens your events.
Paste the token
Can't scan the QR, for example because the email is on the same phone? Then copy the token and paste it into the Paste token field. Then tap Sign in.
Keep your QR code private
The QR code works like a password. Anyone who scans it can scan tickets on your behalf. Do not share it in group chats and do not put it up at the door.
A QR code is valid for 365 days. Does the admin send a new QR, or do you reset your password? Then the old QR stops working.
QR not working?
Do you see Invalid or expired token.? Then a newer QR has been sent, or the code has expired. Ask an admin to send a new QR. See also Revoke access or send a new scanner QR.
